Terms of Use
These terms apply to everyone who creates an account on or uses Piquill ("the site"). By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them.
1. Ownership
All questions, worked solutions, markschemes, diagrams and other materials on the site are original works owned by Piquill and are protected by copyright. Your subscription gives you a licence to use them; it does not transfer ownership.
2. What your licence allows
- Students: personal study and revision.
- Teachers: using the materials with your own classes, including printing or exporting papers for students you teach.
3. What is not allowed
- Sharing, uploading, selling or publishing any question, solution or markscheme, in whole or in part, on any website, file-sharing service, social network, group chat or AI training set.
- Sharing your account or password, or letting other people use your account.
- Copying the question bank with scripts, bots, scrapers or bulk downloads.
- Removing or hiding the watermarks, licence lines or reference codes on screens and exported files.
4. Watermarks and monitoring
To protect the materials, pages and exported files show your account email, the date and time, and a reference code. Exports and unusually high reading activity are logged. This information is used only to protect the content and to identify the source of leaked material.
5. Breaches
If we find that an account has shared or leaked content, or has been shared with others, we may suspend or close the account without a refund and may take further action, including copyright takedown requests.
6. Independence from the IB
Piquill is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). International Baccalaureate® and IB® are registered trademarks of the IBO. All questions are original.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make an important change, we will tell you on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
